About Calla Lily
A Singapore Jewellery Designer Rooted in Craft and Elegance
Founded in 2018, Calla Lily is led by Emily Tan, a GIA Graduate Gemologist trained in New York and an alumna of the London College of Fashion. Her career spans internationally recognised design houses, including Jimmy Choo Couture in London, Marni in Milan, and Kara Ross in New York.
“The creation of the company marked a new beginning, an opportunity to explore new directions,” says Emily. Named after the trumpet-shaped Calla Lily flower, as well as derived from the Greek word for “most beautiful,” the brand symbolises triumph and strength, values that define Calla Lily Fine Jewellers.
Emily’s background in fashion design, combined with a deep understanding of gemstones, colour and a highly personal design process, informs every bespoke jewellery piece, resulting in fine jewellery that is elegant, enduring, and deeply personal.

Each design begins with fine gemstone studs, which can be worn alone or paired with interchangeable earring jackets and pendants. Some bands nestle perfectly beside the engagement ring for a seamless suite, while others share a subtle motif or hidden engraving yet keep distinct profiles. Style & Design Direction
Together, we define the styles, silhouettes, precious metals, and gemstone colours and cuts that feel most natural to you, while honouring the occasion you are marking, from proposals and anniversaries to personal milestones.
Design Development
Each piece begins with exploratory sketches and progresses to precise, to-scale renderings, allowing proportion, balance, and detail to be resolved before crafting begins.
Project Confirmation
To begin the next phase, a $1,000 deposit credited towards your final piece is required, or you may proceed by purchasing a gemstone of the same value. A clear cost breakdown is provided based on your chosen gemstones and precious metals, with design, craftsmanship, labour, and GST transparently included.
Design Refinement
Review two to three styles, with up to 2 rounds of revisions.
Craftsmanship & Completion
Master artisans across Asia and Europe handle each specialist step, chosen for the exact skills your jewel demands. Most pieces are completed in 1–4 months, while intricate commissions may require additional time. Schedules can shift as details are perfected, so please share any key dates, and we will keep you fully informed.

Our gemstones are ethically sourced in partnership with artisanal mines and trusted cutters, with a focus on transparency, fair labour, and responsible practices. Provenance reports are obtained whenever possible to trace each gemstone’s origin and journey.
Small-Batch Artisanal Production
All pieces are handcrafted in small batches of 1 to 5 at a time within specialist artisanal workshops. Each piece is a true labour of love, carefully hand-finished and entirely unique, never mass-produced.
